We offer a customized fishing adventure that fits varying group sizes, time frame, and level of experience aboard our vessel, the Spectrum, and with the local guides/vessels in working in partnership with us.
All tackle and fishing equipment, and a cooler to store snacks and beverages will be provided. You need to bring your own valid California fishing license and the optional (but recommended) second rod stamp which can be purchased from any sporting goods stores in California including our friends at Ken’s Sporting Goods in Bridgeport. The weather on the Bridgeport Reservoir can change quickly. We recommend that you dress in layers and bring cold weather gear, depending on the forecast.
Don’t worry! Prior to your trip, Ken will call to go through a check list with you and will help you prepare for your day of fun on the Reservoir.
Bridgeport Reservoir is mainly a trout fishery, which typically holds rainbows, browns, cut-throats, kokanee and Sacramento Perch. California Law limits trout to 5 fish per person per day, no more than 10 in possession at any one time. For the most part, we practice catch-and-release, but we understand if you would like to take home a few “trophies”. Ken will gladly clean your fish before you leave the Marina!
Complimentary pick up and drop off from the immediate Bridgeport area is available upon request. Pick up and drop off from the Mammoth Airport is available for extra charge.
We do not issue rain checks/or credits for inclement weather conditions, transportation problems, or personal matters. In case of dangerous weather conditions, we may reschedule the trip. In case of cancellation, you will be issued a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
We have all the necessary gear and supplies for trolling, and/or bait fishing during your day on the water. Ken is also a proponent of light gear and tackle because Ken has realized that fighting the fish to the boat is as memorable as the catch itself!
When trolling, we proudly partner with Sep’s Pro Fishing Systems.
